RECIPE: Sweet’ Crunchy Croissant

INGREDIENTS

CROISSANT:
1 Croissant, Vie de France, VE 014794
1 tb Butter, Plugra, VE 075157
1 tb Honey, Sue Bee, VE 042102
‘SWEET’ INGREDIENTS:
½ cup Cannoli Cream w/ Chocolate Chips, Flowers, VE 056429
2 tb Pistachio, Crushed, Ferris, VE 021600
¼ Orange, Zested, Pro*Act, VE 001560

DIRECTIONS

Roll the croissant out with a rolling pin until is thin and smashed down.
In a sauté pan, melt the butter.
Add the croissant to the butter and drizzle with the honey.
Cook the croissant, flipping, until the croissant is golden brown and the honey is caramelized.
Cool slightly on a rack, allowing the honey to crisp up.
Dress croissant with ‘sweet’ ingredients.
