Summer Berry Bread Pudding

INGREDIENTS

8 Brioche Sliders, Highland Baking, VE 086718
6 tb Butter, Grasslands, VE 075158
10 oz Mixed Berries, Dole, SPEC VE 081598
6 Eggs, Sunrise Acres, VE 075202
4 cups Half and Half, Prairie Farms, VE 075058
10 oz Sour Cream, Prairie Farms, VE 011756
2/3 cups Sugar, Pioneer, VE 066090
2 tsp Vanilla Extract, McCormick, VE 065693

DIRECTIONS

First, split the brioche rolls in half and butter them lightly.
Next, use a little of the butter to grease a 2 qt baking dish- put the brioche buns into the dish and scatter the fruit on top.
Beat together the eggs, milk, sour cream, sugar and vanilla extract.
Allow a few minutes for the sugar to dissolve, then strain the mixture into the dish through a sieve, over the brioche rolls.
Let stand for at least 30 minutes.
Bake in a preheated oven at 350° F for 25-30 minutes until set and golden brown.
Cool for a few minutes.
Sprinkle with a little powdered sugar before serving.
Serve with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream.
