RECIPE: Cuban Poutine

INGREDIENTS

MOJO GRAVY:
¼ cup Roasted Pork Gravy Mix, Pioneer, VE 094562
2 ½ cup Water
½ tsp Cumin, McCormick, VE 071921
½ tsp Garlic Powder, McCormick, VE 039573
¼ tsp Oregano, McCormick, VE 007039
¼ tsp Onion Powder, McCormick, VE 071964
¼ cup Orange Juice, Perricone Farms, VE 014823
2 tb Lime Juice, Perricone Farms, VE 014820
Salt and Pepper, to Taste
MUSTARD AIOLI:
1 cup Mayonnaise, Ventura, VE 011790
¼ cup Yellow Mustard, Woebers, VE 017105
2 tb Water
POUTINE:
3 oz French Fries, Ore-Ida, VE 013658
3 oz Pickle Fries, Anchor, VE 010446
3 oz Shredded Pork, Hormel, VE 012382
1 oz 2% Mozzarella, Shredded, Fata, VE 074245
1 oz Swiss, Shredded, Great Lakes, VE 073929
3 oz Mojo Pork Gravy, see recipe above
½ oz Mustard Aioli, see recipe above

DIRECTIONS

For the mojo gravy, combine all ingredients in a sauce pot – bring to a simmer, whisking, until sauce thickens.
Adjust seasoning to taste.
For the mustard aioli, combine all ingredients and mix well.
For the poutine, deep fry the fries and pickle fries according to package directions- drain well and spread evenly on plate.
Warm the pork on a flat top until hot and slightly crispy, then layer over fries.
Ladle pork gravy and sprinkle mozzarella/swiss on top- place plate in oven for cheese to melt.
Garnish poutine with mustard aioli.
