RECIPE: Chopped Chorizo

INGREDIENTS

2 oz Chorizo, Hormel, VE 036701
2 oz Ground Pork, Smithfield, VE 064727
¼ cup Onion, Chopped
2 oz Shredded Monterey Jack Cheese, Dairy Farmers of America, VE 074240
Tomato, Sliced, Ray & Mascari, VE 006755
Shredded Lettuce, Frog Holler, VE 006998
1 cup Mayonnaise, Ventura, VE 011790
1 cup Corn Flame-Roasted, Simplot, VE 016708
8” Scored, Sliced Sub Roll, MI Bread, VE 019482

DIRECTIONS

On a flat top, cook 2 oz of chorizo, 2 oz ground pork along with the onion– top 2 oz shredded monterey jack and melt.
Spread the roll with 1 oz of roasted corn mayo and top with tomato & shredded lettuce.
For the sauce, mix 1 cup of mayonnaise with 1 cup of flame-roasted corn and season to taste.
